CIS Summit kicks off in Dushanbe
Presidents of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine as well as prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Belarus and Uzbekistan attend it.
It is planned to consider 11 drafts documents regulating interaction of the CIS countries in various spheres. The most important are draft decisions on the Statement by the CIS heads of state on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of founding of the Commonwealth of Independent States and on analytic report "Results of the CIS activity over 20 years and goals for the future."
The documents sum up results of the 20-year cooperation on the CIS state in the economic and humanitarian spheres, in the fields of ensuring security and other priority directions and set tasks on enlargement and deepening of integration interaction.
