The CIS permanent representatives are set to review the results of the session of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government that was held on 19 May 2011 and discuss measures to implement the adopted documents by the Council of the CIS Permanent Representatives and the CIS Executive Committee. Taking part in the session will be Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev.

The recent session of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government adopted 23 documents. "The issues included in the agenda were discussed and the necessary decisions were made," the CIS Executive Committee said. Only two documents needed fine-tuning - the draft agreement on free trade zone and the draft agreement on the single registration of the citizens of the third countries and stateless persons entering the CIS member states.

At present the CIS Executive Committee is working on an action plan to implement the decisions taken by the Council of the CIS Heads of Government on 19 May 2011. The next session of the council is to be held in Saint Petersburg in October 2011.

The CIS permanent representatives will discuss the distribution of quota positions between the CIS member states in the CIS Executive Committee. Each state is entitled to one position of a department director or deputy director, the remaining quota positions are distributed proportionally to the actual contributions made by the member states to the CIS Executive Committee since 2001; Kazinform cites BelTA.
