CIS observers praise good organization of parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan

"We've monitored the preparation process and the elections to the Kazakh Senate in all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and I would like to note the high level of organization, work done by the Central Electoral Commission of Kazakhstan and regional election commissions, their commitment and know how," head of the CIS observers mission Sergei Lebedev said. According to him, all candidates had an opportunity to present their programs, meet with members of the public and hold press conferences. The CIS observers mission included 100 people who monitored the parliamentary elections across Kazakhstan on October 1.
