CIS observers in Baku to monitor presidential elections

SAINT PETERSBURG. October 8. KAZINFORM The CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly has started monitoring the presidential elections in Azerbaijan, the assembly's press service reports.
The other day a group of CIS IPA international observers landed in Baku to conduct a short-term monitoring of the presidential elections. Secretary General and Head of the CIS IPA Council Alexei Sergeyev is a part of the group in Azerbaijan, the assembly's statement reads.
The CIS IPA group of observers is included into the CIS mission and numbers nearly 30 people. Among them there are MPs of the CIS member countries, experts, scientists and many others.
