CIS observer mission highly appreciates holding of elections in E Kazakhstan

UST KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM Representatives of the CIS observer mission Yuri Smetanin and Pavel Yasevich sent by the Central Election Commisison of Kazakhstan to the East Kazakhstan region to monitor the country's Senate elections highly appreciates preparations of elections.
They saw no violations during the elections. "The elections were fair and transparent," the foreign observer said. As earlier reported, Sergey Plotnikov secured the majority of votes in the East Kazakhstan region.
