CIS Economic Council to consider draft agreement on cooperation in emergency management

The agenda will include a wide range of issues related to the CIS cooperation in the economic sector. In particular, the participants of the meeting will consider the joint action plan on the implementation of the CIS development concept in economic cooperation, the action plan on the implementation of the second stage (2012-2015) of the CIS economic development strategy through 2020 and the decision of the CIS Heads of Government Council on the main macroeconomic targets for the CIS countries.

The Economic Council members will hear a detailed report on the state of the competition and price-setting on the oil and oil products markets and a detailed review on the business climate, preferences of investors, free economic zones, industrial and sci-tech parks of the CIS member states, BelTA reports.

The participants of the meeting will listen to the information on the interdepartmental cooperation of the CIS tax administrations with banks, migration services, law-enforcement offices in the control work and the activity of the intergovernmental council on exploration, use and conservation of mineral resources in 2011-2013 and the state of the securities market in the CIS. Amendments will be introduced to the organization of the competition for the CIS Award for Achievements in the Quality of Products and Services.
