CIS discusses cooperation agreement in transport security
The participants of the session discussed the draft agreement on information exchange to enhance transport security, the draft agreement on interstate exchange of sci-tech information and the draft interstate radio-navigation program for the period until 2016.
The commission upheld the plan of action to enhance cross-border cooperation in 2014-2015 and a set of measures to prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth disease for the period until 2020.
The members of the commission were informed about the work of the CIS Intergovernmental Council for Timber Processing Industry and Forestry, and the CIS Council of Heads of Customs Services and basic economic organizations of the CIS member states, BelTA reports.
The participants of the session discussed the results of the audits of the financial and economic operation of the executive directorate of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund held in 2012.
