CIS discuss setting up joint data bank of tax and financial crimes

SAINT-PETERSBURG. July 27. KAZINFORM /Yelena Myagkova/ - The CIS countries plan to improve the activity of the Coordination Board of the chiefs of tax investigation agencies as part of crisis overcoming measures.
The member countries have achieved agreements on improvement of the system of information exchange between the tax investigation agencies, including those of boundary regions.
This decision was made at the session of the Council of permanent special representatives of the CIS member countries. It is planned to consider the possibility to form a unified data bank of all agencies of tax and financial investigation of transnational criminal groups implicated in tax and financial crimes and reinforce joint struggle against money laundering.
