CIS cultural cooperation to be discussed in Yerevan

ASTANA. November 5. KAZINFORM. CIS regional conference on cultural politics opens today in Yerevan. Chairman of the Executive Committee - Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev will take part in it.
According to the CIS Executive Committee's press service, cooperation in the sphere of culture is one of the most important directions of interaction of the CIS member states. Culture plays a uniting role. Formation of a single humanitarian space is one the priorities of the Commonwealth.
The Yerevan conference is aimed at forming innovative concepts and approaches in the field of planning and creating flexible infrastructure for cultural policy and appropriate programs on sustainable development and mutual understanding.
Representatives of such international organizations as UNESCO, Council of Europe and CIS, scientists and experts will participate in the forum.
