CIS countries to cooperate in air crash investigations

SAINT-PETERSBURG. July 23. KAZINFORM /Yelena Myagkova/ Draft Agreement on cooperation on air crash investigation of the state aircrafts of the CIS countries will be considered in the CIS Executive Committee; Kazinform reports.
The Draft Agreement is aimed at promotion of common approach in organization of the air crash investigation with state aircrafts one of the CIS countries on the territory of another CIS country.
The Rules for air crash investigations of the state aircrafts of the CIS countries are applied to the Agreement. They cover the definition and classification of the air crashes, order of investigation, degree of participation of plenipotentiaries and their advisers in this work. The rules also regulate the disclosure policy on incident.
