MINSK. May 19. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov, Aituar Mamlin/ CIS member states should intensify cooperation in humanitarian and scientific-technical spheres. Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich announced it on Thursday, May 19.
"I believe that we need to take some kind of homework and for a couple of months submit to the Executive Committee our proposals to strengthen and increase the effectiveness of existing components of multilateral cooperation of CIS member states, especially in the humanitarian and scientific-technical spheres," Myasnikovich said at the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government.
He expressed confidence that over 20 years of its existence the Commonwealth has not exhausted its cooperation potential. "Belarus is ready to move in this direction," he said.
