CIS anti-terror exercise to be held in Kyrgyzstan in 2013

MOSCOW. February 13. KAZINFORM A joint anti-terror exercise will be held under the aegis of the CIS anti-terrorist center in Kyrgyzstan in 2013, the head of the CIS anti-terrorist center Andrei Novikov said at a session of the chiefs of anti-terrorist centers of the CIS member states in Moscow on 12 February, BelTA learned from the head of the press office of the center Marina Kulchitskaya.
Andrei Novikov reminded that the previous exercise was held in Rostov-on-Don in September 2012. The exercise aimed to improve interaction between the CIS security forces to prevent and frustrate terrorist acts at transport and public places, BelTA reports.
