ABU DHABI. October 10. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Embassy in the United Arab Emirates hosted a roundtable meeting dated to the 20th anniversary of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia.

Reps of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the United Arab Emirates, diplomatic corps of the CICA member states and leading political and public figures attended it.

Delivering an opening address Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirtaes Askar Mussinov highlighted the positive results of the CICA activity for the past 20 years, informed of the certain outcomes of the recent jubilee meeting of the CICA foreign ministers held in Astana September 12.

Besides, those gathered got familiarized with a special photo exhibition devoted to the Kazakh-Emirati relations.

The head of the Department for Asia of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the United Arab Emirates noted positive achievements of the Kazakh diplomatic initiative. 'For the past 20 years the CICA as an international forum proved its timeliness and significance as well as created real mechanisms to debate the modern security problems,' he said.
