The traditional temple fairs celebrating the Lunar New Year in 2024 have reopened in the Chinese capital after a four-year suspension.

The constant attributes of the current New Year's fairs are images of dragons, lion and dragon dances, markets with a wide range of handicrafts and souvenirs, as well as street food stalls.

The temple fairs in Beijing will last until February 17.

The Spring Festival holiday (Chunjie, the traditional Chinese Lunar New Year) will run from February 10 to 17.
