China-Uzbekistan Interregional Cooperation Forum held in Urumqi

China and Uzbekistan signed 20 agreements on cooperation in economy, trade, education, medicine, agriculture, science and technology, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The documents were signed at the opening ceremony of the China-Uzbekistan Interregional Cooperation Forum held in Urumqi, China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
As local media reported, more than 1,000 people attended the events held within the forum.
In 11 months of 2023, commodity turnover between the XUAR and Uzbekistan reached 8 trillion 139 billion yuans, which is 42.7% more compared to the last year.
As reported, on January 23-25, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is set to pay a state visit to China.
