China urges resumption of dialogue over Korean Peninsula

According to him, in current context it is extremely important for the parties to resume dialogue and talks.

"We hope that interested parties will join efforts for appropriate regulation of the problems through the dialogue and consultations within the Six-Party Talks in order to preserve peace and stability on the Peninsula", the Chine diplomat stressed.

As is known, China proposed emergency consultations between the delegations within the Six-Party Talks. "Our proposition aims at mitigating the situation on the peninsula and creating a platform for contacts and dialogue", the Spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Office said,

"We are confident that all interested parties will seriously consider this proposition and will respond actively", Hong Lei resumed.
