China urges Kazakhstan to strengthen anti-drug cooperation and fight against «three evil forces

BEIJING. July 15. KAZINFORM - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi urges Kazakhstan to strengthen anti-drug cooperation and work together to combat the "three evil forces".

This statement Mr. Wang voiced at the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Sarybai in the fields of SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting on Saturday, July 13, at Cholponata, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry's website.

According to Mr. Wang, currently Sino-Kazakh political trust, pragmatic cooperation and mutual coordination in the international arena have reached unprecedented levels.

The foreign minister of China noted the need for the parties to "fulfill the agreements reached by leaders of the two countries" to maintain high-level visits, "to promote the pragmatic cooperation in various fields," to strengthen anti-drug cooperation and the fight against the "three evil forces", to strengthen coordination within the SCO CICA and to jointly promote bilateral relations "comprehensive strategic partnership" to a new level.

In turn, C. Sarybai said that the Kazakh-Chinese friendship and cooperation deepen, bilateral relations are at a very high level. "Kazakhstan is ready to work with China to enhance mutual trust, expand pragmatic cooperation, strengthen coordination in international and regional affairs, continuously promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China" sumed up Mr.Sarybay.

Note: In Cholponata there was a meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers with the participation of China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan. The parties discussed the organization and agenda of the summit of Heads of State of the SCO, scheduled for September 2013 in Bishkek.
