China's car industry intends to enter Kazakh market
According to him, the Auto-Expo, running from July 8 to July 13, showcases about 200 self-developed car models which have independent intellectual property rights.
"China sees great possibilities and prospects for selling its cars in Central Asia, especially, in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is a big Central Asian market. Besides, Kazakhstan is a member of the recently-formed Customs Union. Next year we are ready to hold an automobile exhibition in Kazakhstan to bring China's car industry closer to Kazakhstani consumers and then set up joint ventures."
According to China's customs statistics, the total car export volume from China through Khorgos check-point during January-April this year made 2,305 cars (USD 93,23 mln) increasing by 70% against the analogous period of the previous year.
