China, Russia issue joint statement on major international issues

MOSCOW. June 16. KAZINFORM China and Russia issued here on Thursday a joint statement on a broad range of key international issues; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The statement, which came out during Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit to Russia, is based on a common stand between the two sides on key international issues and pledges concerted efforts to cope with current challenges to ensure sustainable economic development.
In view of the increasing interdependence among various nations, the two sides agreed to consolidate the multilateral and legal basis of international politics, according to the joint statement signed by Hu Jintao and his Russian counterpart Dmitri Medvedev; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
