ASTANA. KAZINFORM Head of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov stated that no tenge adjustment will occur again.
"Unfortunately, provocateurs say that the second wave of devaluation will hit Kazakhstan again. Many bureaus of exchange skyrocketed the prices up to KZT 200-215 per USD 1. No recurrent devaluation will hit Kazakhstan," Kelimbetov told a briefing at the Central Communications Service under the Kazakh President. As earlier reported, Kelimbetov assured that bureaus of exchange overpricing exchange rates will be directed stern measures, as much as recall of licenses.
