Chevron CEO informed Kazakh President of Tengizchevroil activity

ASTANA. April 14. KAZINFORM Today Head of Sate Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Chevron Corporation John Watson. The parties discussed issues concerning bilateral cooperation, the President's press service reports.
"During the meeting I informed the President of the work of Tengizchevroil, a joint venture, aimed at the development of the Tengiz field. Last year we hit the record. The most important thing is that we reached high environmental protection and labour safety goals. I also briefed on our initiatives to further development and training of Kazakhstan's staff," Mr Watson said.
"The President has been a successful leader of Kazakhstan for many years in a row proven by the results of the presidential elections. Nursultan Nazarbayev pays great attention to improving investment environment in the country," he told a briefing.
