He recalled that the leading Czech companies such as Škoda Auto, Tatra and Home Credit are successfully operating in Kazakhstan.

“We have agreed to continue cooperation in machine-building, energy, transport, IT, agriculture, pharmaceutics, military equipment, and new technologies. We have also discussed the development of transport-transit partnership as the main component of our trade-economic cooperation. In this context, we have emphasized the enormous potential of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, which has become one of the most important strategic trade routes. As you know, 80% of the cargo transported overland from Asia to Europe, run through Kazakhstan. We plan to raise this volume to 10 million tons in the nearest time,” Murat Nurtleu said.

Earlier, the Czech Foreign Minister said that his country would help Kazakhstan in restoration of Przewalski's horse breed in Kazakhstan.

In an interview with Kazinform, Jan Lipavský said that Czechia views Kazakhstan as a key player in the Central Asian region.
