Charitable campaign for disabled children held in Almaty

ATY. October 31. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ A charitable campaign for children with disabilities organized by the Department of Employment and Social Programs of Medeu municipality under Decade of Disabled People took place in Almaty yesterday.
Over 250 children with disabilities are registered in the municipality.
According to the organizers one of the important directions of the state social policy mentioned in the President's Address to the Nation is further improvement of state of disabled people. Taking into account peculiarities and difficulties of education of children with disabilities such charitable campaigns are held under support of sponsors.
Representatives of 'Kazstroy Service' Company, Council of Veterans of Medeu municipality, experts of administration on employment and social programs of Almaty city took part in the event. The children were handed out presents and their parents received material support.
