Chairmanship in OSCE-objective recognition of Kazakhstan's progress - K. Saudabayev

ASTANA. January 19. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Chairmanship in the OSCE became an objective recognition of the impressive progress reached by Kazakhstan under the leadership of its President Nursultan Nazarbayev. OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Secretary of State - Foreign Affairs Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev has said it at the sitting of the State Commission for Training Specialists Abroad today.
Mr. Saudabayev noted that Kazakhstan officially assumed the OSCE chair on January 14. "From a soviet republic Kazakhstan transformed into an economically powerful, democratically developed state, reliable and predictable partner of the civilized world. During all those years Kazakhstan greatly contributed to the provision of regional and global security", the Secretary of State emphasized.
"Our chairmanship in the OSCE will give a powerful impulse to all spheres of our life - socio-economic development of the state, further political liberalization of the society, improvement of living standards", he added.
