Chairman of Turkish Grand National Assembly visits Majilis

Majilis Chairman Ural Mukhamedzhanov and deputies Seitsultan Aimbetov, Valikhan Konyrbayev, Zheksenbai Duissebayev, Lyudmila Hochiyeva and head of the Majilis administration Ergen Doshayev received special guests. Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantin Zhigalov attended the meeting as well.

The two countries' parliamentarian discussed the issues of further strengthening of bilateral relation including Interparliamentary ties. It was emphasized that special significance has constructive interaction of the two countries within the framework of the UN, OSCE, TurkPA and other international organizations.

The Turkish Speaker noted Kazakhstan's achievements over 19 years after gaining state independence, being successful country in the region. According to him, presidency in the OSCE and upcoming OSCE Summit in Astana show growing authority of the country.

It was noted importance of increasing the two countries' trade turnover at the expense of transportation and air travels expansion.
