Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims congratulates Orthodox Kazakhstanis on Easter

"On behalf of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf I congratulate you and all Orthodox Kazakhstanis on the great Orthodox holiday - Easter.

Long friendship of Islam and Orthodox here confirms that development of the society is impossible without support of the spiritual heritage.

It is wonderful that religious holidays have become a part of life of our multinational country and promote spiritual values among our people. I always thank Allah for preserving peace and accord in relations between the representatives of traditional religions who live harmoniously in Kazakhstan.

Due to the high international reputation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, today Kazakhstan is respected throughout the world for such a peace-loving policy. I am sure that the Orthodox community in Kazakhstan, as well as Muslims, make every effort to further the development of mutual respect in the society. After all, only a joint effort - moving toward a common goal, the wellbeing of our country, we will be able to contribute to the spiritual and economic prosperity of the country," Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims said.
