CES to create common procurement center with no preferences for domestic producers – EEC Trade Minister Slepnyov

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - We have implemented a plan to create a common government procurement center with no preferences for domestic producers, this has been announced today by the Minister of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Andrey Slepnyov.
"The decision has been taken, it is now being implemented. There will be created a common government procurement market without any preferences for domestic producers. As I recall, there were some reservations on the Kazakh side related to national content in certain sectors, in particular, oil. In the Russian Federation, as in the biggest market, there were no reservations in this sector, except for defense, security and so on", said A.Slepnyov. ECE is a permanent supranational regulatory body of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space (CES). It was created by the decision of Presidents of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan in November 2011.
