Central Election Commission summed up elections results

ASTANA. August 10. KAZINFORM - Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kazakhstan has summed up the results of the Akims' elections.
"In the period from 5 to 9 August the current year in 14 regions Akims' elections for 2,457 district towns, rural districts and villages had been carried out. Total number of the elected Akims is 2.454", said Serik Turgankulov, Chairman of CEC, at a press conference in Central Communications Service office.
In total, during the election campaign there were put forward 7,173 and registered 6,738 candidates. Ballot papers included 6,738 candidates' names.
