Central Asian Innovative Fund launched at the University of Cambridge
"We are ready to expand cooperation with the University of Cambridge, especially in the field of new technologies, renewable energy and ecology. In this light, I would like to announce that the Central Asian Innovative Fund has been created by Kazakhstan in association with the University of Cambridge. The fund starts its work and is to play an important role in the development of the innovative potential of our region," President Nazarbayev said.
"The establishment of the scholarship named after a great Kazakhstani scientist Al-Farabi is also of paramount importance. The scholarship will help gifted students do research of our region on the basis of the University of Cambridge. I am confident this will be a great contribution to our cooperation," the Kazakh Leader added.
