Central Asian crafts fair kicks off in Astana

PAVLODAR. JUNE 12. KAZINFORM Participants of the International Central Asian Crafts Fair starting today in Astana will visit Pavlodar on June 14, the press service of the region's Governor reported.
The Fair is held within a grant project "Improvement of the craft's quantity and assistance to the increase in sales in the Central Asia countries."
The runway shows of ethnographic collections of the Central Asia leading designers Dilbara Ashimbayeva, Madina Tapayeva and others will be presented at the exhibitions in Astana and Pavlodar. Craftsmen and artisans of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will present handmade silk, felt, fabric, leather, and wood goods as well as jewelry.
