Caviar poacher kills dozens relic sturgeon of the Caspian Sea

ATYRAU. KAZINFORM - Atyrau water police officers detained a man, born in 1989, in whose boat policemen have found dozens of relic sturgeon illegally caught in the Caspian Sea.
The detainee is the resident of the village Zhanatalap. In addition 1 kg of black caviar and 195 kilograms of sturgeon and stellate sturgeon were found on the boat, Gulnazira Mukhtarova, the spokesperson of the regional Internal Affairs Department informed. Total since the beginning of "Bekire" operation, police has registered 51 violations of fishing regulations. Police seized 3 kg of caviar, 1 ton 400 kg of fish including 500 kg of sturgeon.
