Cause of crash of CRJ-200 in Almaty region to be announced soon

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The official cause of crash of the passenger plane CRJ-200 in Almaty region will be announced in the nearest future, deputy head of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Serik Mukhtybayev told answering journalists' questions today.
"In regard to CRJ I can say that we have already received the conclusions of international specialists. I believe the commission that has been investigating this incident will announce the official information about the cause of that crash. The information received from the international experts needs to be translated from the English language and it takes time, but the results are supposed to be announced in February," he said. As earlier reported, the CRJ-200 plane crashed on January 29, 2013 close to the airport of Almaty. It cost lives of 21 people.
