Casualties feared as cargo plane crashes in Afghanistan

KABUL. July 6. KAZINFORM Casualties feared as a cargo plane crashed some 50 km northwest of Afghan capital Kabul in the wee hours on Wednesday, an official said; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
President of Kabul International Airport Mohammad Yaqub Rassuli told Xinhua that the cargo plane was chartered by NATO-led forces and carrying goods for the military alliance and crashed in mountainous areas some 50 km northwest of capital city of Kabul at around 00:30 a.m. local time.
There was no immediate report of casualties; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
