Cars blown off roads in N Kazakhstan

Unsteady weather sets the tone in North Kazakhstan. Rains, high winds and slippery roads are in store for the region, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Snowstorms blew the vehicles off the roads. Authorities were forced to close slick highways across the region. No casualties were reported.
The emergency situations department issued a weather warning for December 27. The greater part of the region will brace for snowfalls, snowstorms, and ice-slick. High wind gusting 15-20 m/s, 23-28 m/s will sweep through most of the region at night and 30 m/s and more in the west and south of the region.
