Cannes Film Festival adds Kazakh feature to the official selection
Andre Techine's L'Homme Qu'on Aimait Trop (In the Name of My Daughter) with Guillaume Canet and Catherine Deneuve, and Kornél Mundruczó's White Dog were added to the official selection. The Owners (Realtors) by Adilkhan Yerzhanov will play in Special Screenings along with Laurent Bécue-Renard's documentary Of Men and War, Tony Gatlif's Geronimo, and Pablo Fendrik's El Ardor with Gael Garcia Bernal. As reported earlier, Sofia Coppola from the U.S., Gael Garcia Bernal from Mexico, South Korea's Jeon Do-yeon, France's Carole Bouquet, Hollywood star Willem Dafoe, Denmark's Nicolas Winding Refn, China's Jia Zhangke and Iran's Leila Hatami comprise this year's Cannes Film Festival panel. New Zealand film maker Jane Campion will serve as jury president.
