Canadian Minister of International Trade to visit Kazakhstan in September

ASTANA. September 21. KAZINFORM Minister of International Trade of Canada Stockwell Day is expected to visit Kazakhstan on September 24-26. The visit's program includes discussion of the issues regarding expansion of trade-economic cooperation between our countries; the Kazakh MFA's press service reports.
At present there are registered 89 companies with participation of the Canadian capital and 29 representation offices of the Canadian companies in the country. The energy and mining industries of Kazakhstan are one of the most attractive sectors for the Canadian business.
"Canada is among the ten largest investors of Kazakhstan. The index of direct foreign investments exceeds USD 2.2 bln".
