Canada has first case of E. coli linked to Europe

TORONTO. June 7. KAZINFORM An Ontario man has Canada's first suspected case of E. coli linked to the outbreak in Europe; Kazinform refers to China Daily.
The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care said Monday the man travelled to Germany this spring where he consumed local salad products.
Ontario's chief medical officer of health, Dr Arlene King, says initial testing has confirmed the presence of toxin compatible with the current E. coli outbreak in Europe. But it will take a few more days for further lab tests to confirm the case; Kazinform cites China Daily.
