Cabinet to discuss results of work on improving Kazakhstan's Doing Business rating

ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM On January 22, Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov will hold a sitting of the Government to consider the results of work on improving indicators in the World Bank's Doing Business ranking and set objectives for 2013, official representative of the Central Communications Service Altay Abibullayev told a briefing on Monday.

"I would like to emphasize that the Government gives the highest priority to the issues of improving the business environment in the country for Kazakh businessmen and moving up in the rankings, which is very important in light of the national idea of entering the top 30 most competitive countries in the world," Abibullayev stated.

Kazakhstan has ranked 49th in the Doing Business 2013 ratings, improving its position by seven points.
