Cabinet approved bill on currency regulation and currency control

ASTANA. May 24. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The Kazakh Government approved a draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on the issues of currency regulation and currency control during the Tuesday telephone conference.
As Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Bissengali Tajiyakov noted introducing the bill, the document would reduce administrative barriers for foreign trade. It is need to bring national legislation into conformity with the international agreement on the procedure of transfer of cash and cash instruments by individuals across the customs border of the Customs Union.
"Adoption of the bill is to facilitate the optimal functioning of the export and import controls, improve the investment image of Kazakhstan, including its ranking in the World Bank's Doing Business Report on the "international trade" indicator," Tajiyakov said.
