CA countries may become world community collective outpost in war on int'l terror
"Kazakhstan remains consistent supporter of Central Asian integration. We eye vast opportunities for the implementation of joint large investment projects. To my thinking, it would be important to suggest a regional free trade zone now. It is crucial to assume agreed measures in the area of trans-border labor migration. We should set up and develop the common Central Asian railway and highway network.
Central Asia may form a food pool. Besides, the countries may become the collective outpost of the world community in fight against international terrorism, extremism, illegal migration, drug transit and other modern challenges.
Kazakhstan hails the specialized missions of the UN, OSCE and other international organizations. Kazakhstan sees its mission in the region in consistent strengthening of the regional security system and stability. We are ready to deepen our cooperation in all issues and problems of the regional security as well as our cooperation with the CSTO, SCO, CICA, partnership programs with NATO and other international structures," the President stated.
