Business Road Map 2020 program aids first-time entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan: Uskenbayev

This was announced by first Deputy Minister of Regional Development Kairbek Uskenbayev at the Government's meeting on Tuesday.
"In addition, the Government issued guarantees totaling KZT 21 billion for 204 business projects. 137 first-time entrepreneurs were offered KZT 408 billion of grants for their start-up projects," said Mr. Uskenbayev.
In his words, the Business Road Map 2020 program is the most popular instrument in support of entrepreneurship in the country.
"Currently, one in five people in Kazakhstan are employed within the program. The Business Road Map 2020 program covers nearly 36 thousand businessmen. 145 thousand jobs have been preserved and 40 thousand new workplaces have been created in the framework of the program," elaborated the first Deputy Minister of Regional Development.
