Burabai National Park to plant over 500,000 trees in 2024

A large project to plant 2 billion trees within 5 years is being developed in Kazakhstan. the national park Burabai also contributes to the project. It plans to plant 520,000 trees this year, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Department of Presidential Affairs of Kazakhstan.
Las tyear the park planted over 500 trees on 65 hectares of land. Pine trees, birches, currant, apple trees, raspberry, maples, and berberis are planted there.
Tree planting is aimed at improving the ecological situation in the country.
