Building Code to be developed in Kazakhstan

ATY. September 2. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ A building Code will be developed in Kazakhstan for improvement of the regulatory system; Representative Salauat Dembay has informed of it today at the press-conference in Almaty dedicated to the international exhibition 'Kazbuild 2009'.
"The regulatory sector of construction is the most topical issue for today", - S. Dembay said. We have no any regulations in construction to correspond to modern requirements. That is why we planned to implement a five years program on development of regulations in housing and public utilities from 2010 on. About 20 regulations will be developed each year whereas KZT 150 mln will be allotted for this purpose", - he added.
The regulations will cover setting of price, control over construction development, increase of the Kazakhstan's share in construction and etc., whereas the international experience will be used for this purpose.
