Broadband internet to be available in rural regions in 2011-2012 - A. Zhumagalilyev

ASTANA. December 6. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Minister of Information and Communications Askar Zhumagalilyev represented a report at the Governmental Hour in the Majilis of Kazakhstan.
'All the regions of the country will be provided with the service of the 3G standard next year. 4G communication service mode is tested in Almaty and Astana. We plan to start WLL CDMA 450 MHz technology in rural regions. It will be implemented in Kostanay region in January already and in 2011-2012 in all the regions of the state', A. Zhumagaliyev said.
According to him as a result of this work broadband internet will be available in rural regions.
