British Minister for Higher Education and Intellectual Property visits KazNU
The Minister was accompanied by British Ambassador to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Paul Brummell, British Council director in Kazakhstan Lena Milosevic and Heads of a range of British higher education institutions and organizations in the field of higher and vocational education. The main purpose of their visit is to extend cooperation between two countries.
B.Zhumagulov expressed hope that there will be British student studying in the Kazakh National University among foreign students in the future. 40 visits of scientists from Great Britain aimed at lecturing and scientific advising were paid to the University in 2005-2009.
The parties discussed issues of educators and students exchange, compatibility of educational programs, level of English of students and educators, allowing to master foreign programs. Joint fundamental researches of the KazNU scientists and scientists of the British universities were discussed as well.
