British man detained in Atyrau with documents worth EUR 450,000

ATYRAU. March 2. KAZINFORM A British citizen was detained at the Atyrau-Airport customs station trying to take out the undeclared project documentation.
According to the Atyrau regional customs control department, the "Atyrau landscape and shade gardening" project documentation (in quantity of 2 pieces) and a disc were detected in his baggage. The British citizen moved the documentation across the customs border of the Customs Union without any forwarding documents. According to the judicial merchandizing expertise, the undeclared project documents were priced at EUR 450,000 or KZT 86,639,500. The contraband control office of the department initiated a criminal case upon this fact, the statement reads.
