British-Kazakh Society invites for 20k Charity Race Astana 2011

We are hoping to raise substantial donations for charity organisation, which works with children of Aral, as well as brining attention of the Kazakhstan public to an admirable work Representative office of International charitable public foundation Children of Chernobyl and Aral in Kyzylorda city does.

We have organised a very successful 7k race in 2009 and 10k in 2010 and hoping to gradually build a full lenghth marathon in Astana, firmly placing the city on the world marathon map.

Apart from the charity cause, the race is aiming at promoting healthy life style and involvement of participants ranging from KZ, UK and multinational companies, embassies based in Astana and ordinary citizens of the capital, the press service of the British-Kazakh Society reports.
