British expert held training for press officers of state agencies and nat'l companies
First time Kazakhstan has organized a training course for press officers of public bodies, national companies, public broadcasters, as well as employees of Kazmedia Centre, which was given by the world-renowned trainer for International relations and consultant in the field of online-PR, digital corporate communications, public affairs and digital social media Bruce Stewart (Stuart Bruce Associates).

During the training, Bruce Stewart talked about the kinds of channels in PR, new media relations, effective internet platforms for information dissemination. In the practical part of the workshop S.Bruce presented a new form of a press release of the 21st century. According to him, it must be accompanied by various instruments, i.e. photo and video materials. "Press release is not a magic stick, it should contain news , not a set of words. A good press release is primarily proven facts", said the trainee. Speaking about the formation of new directions in contemporary journalism, he noted the development of data-journalism, the popularity of which is growing every day, its specifics and prospects.
