British Council announcing competition on developing design of a website for Kazakhstani museums

ALMATY. July 7. KAZINFORM British Council is actively promoting Kazakhstan's cultural and historical heritage through our new 'Month in Museums' Project.
The project was conceived and designed locally and is focused on the development of intercultural understanding between the UK and Kazakhstan, the press service of the British Council reports.
As part of the project British Council is announcing a competition on developing design of a website for Kazakhstani museums. The first prize - 100,000 tenge.
The Month in Museums project serves to:
- attract English speaking tourists to local museums and help visitors appreciate Kazakhstan's unique history and culture.
- provide an internship opportunity for British students of the Russian language.
- promote the "Trilingual" policy initiative of the Kazakhstan government and support the drive to improve tourism in Kazakhstan.
