Briefing dedicated to Constitution Day held in Uzbekistan

HKENT. August 28. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ The Kazakh Embassy in Uzbekistan has held a briefing dedicated to the Constitution Day today in Tashkent.
Public figures, representatives of Uzbekistani mass media, scientific circles and universities took part in the event.
During the briefing it was noted that the Constitution of Kazakhstan was approved by referendum on 30 August 1995. Charge d'affaires a.i. Valikhan Turekhanov noted that the Constitution as the Principal Law of the country provides stability of development of the society and state, reflects wish of Kazakh people, their aspiration towards democratic, civil, legal and social state the highest values of which are people, their life, rights and freedom.
The participants highly appraised the democratic and socio-economic improvements in Kazakhstan based on the Constitution.
